"One of the better Asian interview-centered channels on
YouTube. They do extensive interviews on a wide range of subjects in South
Korea, Japan and Australia, and they don’t shy away from uncomfortable or
controversial topics. Already they’ve done pieces on sexual harassment, whale
eating and immigration. This youth-oriented channel looks to inform people
outside of Asia about what’s really going on in that part of the world, and
bridge the gulf of Western ignorance about the region caused by the lack of
Asian coverage from most Western news outlets. The answers that the people on
the street give will often be surprising, especially when considering the
stereotypes of Asian cultures that Asian Boss is looking to bust through. A useful and entertaining tool for those looking for viewpoints
outside that of the narrowly restricted message found in mainstream channels."
