Hey folks!
Finally have a little time away from my social media blitzing to update you guys on what's been happening with the book launch! The good news is, the boat carrying my books is arriving today and the books themselves should be in my distribution center early next week. Once we're all set and squared away, the first books can get sent out to the people who so generously contributed to the IndieGogo campaign earlier this summer. After that, it's first-come, first-serve for whoever wants to buy the book online at www.dancefloorthunderstorm.com!
The press is beginning to pay attention to the book as well, which is naturally a very good thing. The latest example came from these great pieces over at THUMP (the electronic music division of VICE), LA.com...and there's a podcast interview with MagneticMag.com that's coming very soon that I can't quite release yet, sorry!! More media updates as they come!

In the meantime, the date for the book's launch party is coming up fast! For those of you who haven't been paying attention on social media, the party is taking place at the Industry DTLA salon & party space in downtown L.A. on Thursday, October 8th. The party's going to run from 7:00 to 11:00, and is going to be featuring the fantastic DJing talents of Mark Lewis, Freddy Be, Riley Warren and Jason Blakemore. The gig is taking place right next to Downtown L..A ArtWalk, so there's probably going to be a bit of bleed-over from that, audience-wise. A lot of my old-school DJ friends are coming, and we may have a surprise or two in the works as well...
So come on down if you can! The party's free, and the vibe is going to be very laid-back and fun. If you're a fan of the music that made EDM possible, then this is going to be the party (and the book) for you.
