My First Owl

 

My latest find in Elysian Park: a Great Horned Owl, chilling before heading out for a night of hunting. Here's a crop:

I must say that searching out wildlife like this in my backyard is quite rewarding sometimes. I can only imagine the results I would get if I used a proper birding lens.
