Just thought I'd throw in a few pics from this year's Lotus Festival in Echo Park, which is of course where I live. Didn't stick around for all that long (thanks to stupid short-term parking meters!!), but had some fun nonetheless.

The crowd seems to like what's happening onstage...

This guy was playing Yankee Doodle Dandy on his Chinese flute...seriously.
